Vehicle Description

The 1970 Pontiac GTO arrived at the high-water mark of the muscle-car era, wearing one of Pontiac's most aggressive designs. Its body-colored Endura nose, exposed quad headlights, twin hood scoops, and muscular A-body proportions gave the original street brawler a fresh set of brass knuckles. Pontiac built 40,149 GTOs for 1970, a substantial drop from 1969, helping make surviving examples increasingly sought after today. This orange GTO takes that legendary foundation and adds modern firepower with a 6.0-liter LS2 V8. A BTR Stage 2 camshaft, ported LS2 intake, Speed Engineering headers, hardened pushrods, titanium retainers, and .660-inch valve springs give it the hardware and attitude enthusiasts expect from a properly sorted LS combination. A Holley mid-mount accessory drive, in-tank fuel pump, electric fans, and programmed PCM help keep the package clean, cool, and road-ready. Power runs through an RPM Level 5 4L60E automatic overdrive transmission with a 3,200-rpm lockup converter. The console-mounted His and Hers shifter preserves vintage Pontiac flavor while overdrive adds relaxed highway manners. Factory air conditioning, power steering, power brakes, and PCM-controlled wide-open-throttle compressor disengagement bring welcome usability to the old-school cockpit. Underneath, a full UMI suspension system and Viking coilovers at all four corners sharpen the chassis, while Baer four-wheel disc brakes with color-matched calipers provide confident stopping power. Forgeline 18-inch wheels carry serious rubber, with 275s up front and steamroller-sized 315s out back for a planted stance. Inside, black bucket seats, a center console, and Dakota Digital VHX gauges blend classic muscle-car architecture with modern instrumentation. With driver-quality orange paint and a hard-hitting combination of LS power, overdrive cruising, upgraded suspension, and big brakes, this GTO is built to be driven, heard, and enjoyed.
